On 13 April 2017, Onésimus Defense was selected as the sole-awardee for this five
year IDIQ contract with the US Naval Safety and Environmental Training Center (NAVSAFENVTRACEN), headquartered in Norfolk, Virginia.  Fulfilling the requirements of this award, Onésimus Defense’s Safety Services Division will be providing the NAVSAFENVTRACEN with curriculum development, management and a cadre of professional instructors for the development, production and instruction of the US Navy’s Machinery and Machine Guarding Safety program of study.  Upon design completion and implementation, this course will serve as the US Navy's principal avenue by which Navy and Marine Corps OSH Specialists, Industrial Hygienists, Environmental Protection Specialists and Safety Engineers, receive the training and certifications required by OSHA and other regulatory agencies as it pertains to "machine guarding" and industrial safety in both afloat and ashore environments. This program represents Onésimus Defense's third multi-year prime contract award with the NAVSAFENVTRACEN.  We are honored to have been selected to provide these services and to continue our commitment to this prestigious organization as a long-term, value added partner.
