On 29 September 2016, Onésimus Defense was selected as the sole-awardee for this five year IDIQ contract to provide curriculum development, management, training and certification for the US Navy's Electrical Safety Standards program of study. Working in concert with government safety engineers, this program culminates in four-day courses of instruction to educate, train and certify US Navy and Marine Corps personnel in all aspects of electrical safety, safety compliance, electrical hazard mitigation and safety program management. This programs combines and references the most current industry and government electrical safety data, drawn from within the Codes of Federal Regulations, the National Electrical Code, OSHA, the NFPA, and applicable US Navy Instructions, as it applies to both CONUS electrical systems and systems encountered in overseas locations.
